Connecting in meaningful community is what membership is all about – being connected to God and His family which He calls his “body”. Being a church member is not like being a member of a club – but like a family where every person has their special place and part to play. It is a covenant of believers sharing a common vision for God’s church in their community. Although membership is not required for your participation in most church functions, it is required for those wishing to share in the church’s decision making process. Members of UBC share a willingness to seek and live out the truths of God and the Bible in their personal lives.
