LAW & DISORDER

march 7 - 28

Jesus “Outlaw” Christ. He was called a sabbath-breaker, a blasphemer, a deceiver & demon possessed. Wherever Jesus went, he kept having run-ins with the “law”.  The stories brought to light in John 7-12 bring this into clear focus. It’s as if John is inviting his readers into the courtroom to hear testimonial evidence from all kinds of observers - the Pharisees, the chief priests, the disciples, those healed by His touch & those who witnessed it all with their own eyes. Examine the evidence for yourself in this fascinating series, then answer this question:
What’s your verdict?

about

» Baptism

For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ. Colossians 2:12

We practice baptism by immersion under water the way Jesus was baptized, and the way the Bible commands. Furthermore, this method of baptism reflects the death and resurrection of Jesus.

» next baptism at UBC is scheduled for Sunday, March 14

» next ocean baptism has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1

We celebrate baptism on the second Sunday of most months during our weekend worship experiences and ocean baptism four times throughout the year on a Saturday morning. If you have completed the StartUp new members class and indicated that you desire baptism by immersion then you are invited to schedule your baptism.

Once you have scheduled your ocean baptism…
