Marriage can be a difficult journey! So difficult, that many marriages today are failing.You can make a difference and help win the war on divorce and empower couples to build solid relationships.
Join us to become a part of one of the most important battles of our day by training to become a Marriage Mentor. Perfect marriages don’t exist – so don’t worry that your marriage has war wounds – that’s exactly what you bring to help others!

Married Couples
It can be overwhelming to try and understand God’s design and plan for marriage because so many contradicting messages surround us: in books, magazines, movies and music. As a result, many couples fall into the trap of looking everywhere but to the Author of marriage to find out what God intended.
Marriage is what you make it, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer. So, how are you doing?
Every marriage has room to grow and everyone can benefit from a deeper relationship with their spouse. Yet, we never seem to have time to just work on our marriage. Whether you are newlyweds or have been married for decades, it is our goal to help you understand God’s plan for your marriage and discover new insights about you and your relationship with your spouse.
Here are some ways we want to help you - whether you are considering or preparing for marriage, needing help or direction with your spouse, or just wanting to “fine tune” the relationship:
Premarital Mentoring:
A crucial part of having a great marriage is preparation. That’s why we encourage couples to participate in our premarital mentoring program.
One-to-One Couple Mentoring is being developed to offer individualized help for your specific marital needs.
MarriedYou LIVE:
Great marriages don’t just happen … you have to work at them! This celebration of marriage takes place 3 times a year and offers a creative and helpful experience to encourage your marriage.

Marriage Preparation Workshop
Marriage Preparation Workshop
Our Marriage Preparation Workshop, to help you before and after you say “I do”, has been postponed.
The workshop consists of a two-part preparation process. The first is the Workshop and the second is an Online Premarital Test.
We will provide all the materials and the food for the weekend. The fee for the workshop is $40 per couple. Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate to present to the clerk’s office that will allow you to deduct $35 from the marriage license fee and an exemption from the 3 day waiting period.
If you are getting married here at UBC. The fee for the Online Premarital Test is included in the wedding costs. If you are not being married at UBC, but are being married by one of the UBC pastors, the cost for the test is $150 per couple.
