Block Party is right around the corner and we would love for you to be involved with Family Ministry and UBC in one of these ways.

1. Come join families on October 30th in the UBC parking lot for our annual UBC Block Party.  Bring your friends and family for an afternoon of games, candy, trunk or treat, costume contest, and so much more.  Help us out this month by bringing individually wrapped candy to the bins at Sunday morning family check-in.  We also need your help as volunteers, see the list of opportunities below.
2. You can also join families all across Miami and throw a Block Party for your friends and neighbors.  Wednesday night, October 6th at 7pm in Room 113 at UBC, Family Ministry will be offering a how-to night on running your own Neighborhood Block Party.  Learn how to transform your house in a fun and family-friendly place that people want to spend time at for Halloween and beyond. 3. The final way you can be involved is through our Community Block Party. We will be heading out into a community in Miami and partnering together to throw a Block Party.  For more information check the Community Block Party box below.

Orange describes a partnership represented by three colors:

Red … the family
Yellow … the church

…combining for greater ORANGE impact in the lives of children.

The opportunity is great when we work together to shape the hears of the next generation.  With that said, we would love for you to take the time right now to sign up to serve one Sunday before August 8th.  It’s not a long term commitment, just one hour, on one Sunday, and we even simplified our lesson plans to make it easier for you!

You will enjoy dinner and an evening designed to celebrate your part in making a difference for families at UBC.  Why don’t you get your calendar out right now and make a note before something else gets on there… We REALLY want you to be there!
