rekindle . connecting with God

july 4 – august 15

There are lots of ways to connect these days – Facebook, Twitter, IM, texting, Skype, etc. But how do we connect with God? Although He has 375,691 friends on Facebook the last time we checked – we’re pretty sure that’s not the best way to get in touch with Him.
The Bible finds its purpose as it leads us into an ever deepening connection with God. It’s one way He speaks to us & we’re going to take a look at what He has to say. Whether it’s through our leather-bound Bible, smartphone, or iPad – it’s time to rekindle our connection with Him.
We’ve chosen a few of the greatest chapters in the Bible to start the conversation between you & God – starting with James 1 on Sunday, July 4 & then weekly » Luke 15, Isaiah 53, Romans 8, John 15, Genesis 1, Revelation 22, & 1 Corinthians 13.

  • rss-icon1 What is RSS?

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.

    rss-icon1 Why RSS?

RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually.

rss-icon1 What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?

Feed Reader or News Aggregator software allow you to grab the RSS feeds from various sites and display them for you to read and use.A variety of RSS Readers are available for different platforms. Some popular feed readers include Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac), FeedReader (Windows), and NewsGator (Windows – integrates with Outlook). There are also a number of web-based feed readers available. My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader are popular web-based feed readers. Once you have your Feed Reader, it is a matter of finding sites that syndicate content and adding their RSS feed to the list of feeds your Feed Reader checks. Many sites display a small icon with the acronyms RSS, XML, or RDF to let you know a feed is available.
