The Environmental Protection Agency claims the average American produces about 4.4 pounds of garbage a day, 29 pounds per week & 1,600 pounds a year. No, we’re not trying to make you feel guilty. In fact, Americans are not the #1 garbage producer in the world…

But consumer culture makes it all too easy to take the priceless & treat it as if it were meant merely to be used up then thrown on the trash heap. In our new series we let God’s Word teach us how to treasure what truly matters & show that family, marriage, our bodies, time & income are so much more than Disposable.

Following every service on February 11th & February 12th, we will be hosting an informal Q & A time and informational session about all of our upcoming Missions Trips to the Bahamas, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Brazil, and Cuba.

A global trip is a great step in following Christ’s call to love the poor. Our prayer is that God continues to call new people to GO GLOBAL and we hope this year it is you!

If you have never gone before or are interested in going in 2012, this is a great time to find out information on trip purpose, cost, fund raising, and what it takes to go on Mission with UBC.
