There are lots of ways to connect these days – Facebook, Twitter, IM, texting, Skype, etc. But how do we connect with God? Although He has 375,691 friends on Facebook the last time we checked – we’re pretty sure that’s not the best way to get in touch with Him.
The Bible finds its purpose as it leads us into an ever deepening connection with God. It’s one way He speaks to us & we’re going to take a look at what He has to say. Whether it’s through our leather-bound Bible, smartphone, or iPad – it’s time to rekindle our connection with Him.
We’ve chosen a few of the greatest chapters in the Bible to start the conversation between you & God – starting with James 1 on Sunday, July 4 & then weekly » Luke 15, Isaiah 53, Romans 8, John 15, Genesis 1, Revelation 22, & 1 Corinthians 13.

WHAT IS LIFE+?
Life+ seeks to help individuals experience the fullness of life that Christ came to give at every life stage and situation. We believe that God uses ordinary people to help change lives. Life+ offers training to those who are interested in serving others in this way.

WHO DOES LIFE+ SERVE?
EVERYONE! Whether you are a college student adjusting to life in a new city, a newlywed needing help with marriage, or someone dealing with grief, Life+ has something to offer you. To access Life+, email us or call 305.448.4428 x.621.

WHAT IS A LIFE+ MENTOR?
Perhaps one of the best ways to indicate what the role of a Life+ mentor is, is to indicate what a Life+ Mentor is NOT: a therapist or counselor, a social worker, a friend, a surrogate parent, an expert, God, a problem solver/fixer.

A Life+ Mentor is a person committed to helping another person experience the fullness of life in Christ that they themselves have experienced.  This is done by establishing a meaningful connection with the care receiver by which God’s truth is revealed and helpful tools are introduced.  The goal is to help the care receiver to recognize his or her capacity (with God’s help) to manage and move through whatever life stage or situation that they experience.  The Life+ Mentor always points the care receiver to an understanding of God’s love or to his/her need for God and will be: available, collaborative, a guide, a listener, an encourager, a referral source.
